What is Family Readiness?
A Family Readiness Group (FRG) is a volunteer organization of soldiers and civilian employees (single or married) and family members belonging to the unit. A FRG provides an avenue of mutual support and assistance and a network of communication among the family members, the chain of command, and community resources.
What is a Family Readiness Support Assistant?
Family Readiness Support Assistants (FRSA) help commanders provide resources to soldiers and their families. These resources help prepare families for the unique demands of military life before, during and after deployment.
